George "Rod" Rodelius (Bass, Vocals) grew up in the Chicago area and frequented such notable venues as the Checkerboard Lounge and Theresa's Lounge while still in high school. Before graduating he was playing regularly with Woody Williams ( Drummer with Lefty Dizz), and members of KoKo Taylor’s band, and learning all about Chicago Blues.
George has played with many great artists including Buddy Guy, Atlantic Records’ "off broadway" guitarist John Ivan who leads "Big Guitars From Memphis", Derek St. Holmes ( Ted Nugent), and Matthew Skoller. Rod was the driving force behind the rhythm section of NJ’s Terraplane Blues as they rocked their way to the finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2000.

George joined the Ramblin Dawgs in January 2014 and is an integral part of the Rockin Blues Rhythm section of the band. George also contributes with background vocals and an occasional lead.
